Koa / Mango / Maple Chess Set

Each chess set, and each piece within a set, is a unique creation. The light colored chess pieces are curly mango and the dark are curly koa. The board is inlaid curly koa and mango. Each piece in this set is individually hand turned using no duplicators or calipers. The opposing sides are turned using wood from the same koa and mango trees. Although the pieces look identical at a glance, closer inspection reveals that they are adorned with individual rope carvings, making each member of the set as unique as a snow flake. While each set has stunning attention to detail, no two sets are ever identical. Kings are 5 inches tall, and pawns are 2.5 inches tall. The board is regulation size 21 x 21 inches.
